What’s Happening At Summit

Update To Piano

As we told you a few weeks ago, we have introduced 3 important new models to our Piano modular seating range. Summit And The Environment

Summit Chairs has ISO14001 environmental management certification and is a full member of FIRA’s Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme (FISP). Specifically designed for the furniture industry, FISP requires us to meet far more stringent and wide ranging levels of accountability, over and above those set out in ISO14001. It is also important for us to ensure maximum levels of product recyclability – and, where possible, to use recycled materials in our production processes.

Healthy Sitting

It is simple for anyone to achieve a healthy sitting posture with a well-designed and correctly adjusted operator or task chair.

Ideally the chair size should be chosen to suit the user; which is one of the reasons why we manufacture so many different ranges. On our chairs all the controls are easy to reach, but it is just as important that the other elements of a workstation are suitable and correctly positioned for the task that is to be undertaken.

Made In The UK

Summit Chairs has been manufacturing commercial seating since 1977. Over the years we have built an enviable reputation for quality, workmanship and service. Everything, from the frame construction and upholstery through to assembly, is carried out by our own highly skilled UK-based work force. This enables us to continually monitor and improve processes, bringing to the market innovative new ranges that deliver on all counts: aesthetics, ergonomics, quality, function and price. These sound business principles help us become more environmentally conscious too.
